Role Purpose

We are currently recruiting Financial Consultants to join our Partnerships Team in Cork, supporting our public sector clients.

In this role, you will work closely with clients to understand their financial needs and goals, helping them make informed decisions about their financial future. You’ll provide tailored advice, identify opportunities to support their wellbeing, and recommend appropriate financial solutions.

This is a fast-paced and collaborative environment, where success is supported through training, coaching and teamwork.

All Financial Consultants receive 8 weeks of comprehensive training before starting the role. While QFA status (or working towards it) is desirable, we are committed to supporting you—full educational support is provided for those who wish to gain this qualification.


What You’ll Be Doing

  • Build trusted relationships with public sector employees and their families

  • Conduct comprehensive financial wellbeing consultations to understand customers' needs and goals

  • Provide tailored financial guidance and recommend suitable solutions

  • Support clients with products such as income protection, life insurance, pensions, retirement planning, and tax services

  • Deliver presentations and educational sessions within public sector workplaces, including schools and hospitals

  • Create exceptional customer experiences at every interaction

  • Respond professionally and efficiently to customer enquiries and referrals

  • Build long-term customer relationships through specialist advice and ongoing support

  • Work towards agreed business goals while maintaining a customer-first approach

  • Maintain the highest standards of compliance and regulatory excellence

  • Continue developing your financial services knowledge and expertise

  • Complying with risk control and regulatory requirements that are relevant to this role

  • Maintaining commercial awareness relevant to this role

Skills & Experience

We value a range of experiences and encourage applications even if you don’t meet every requirement.

  • APA, QFA or a willingness to work towards these qualifications (fully supported)

  • Experience in customer-facing roles (sales experience is helpful but not essential)

  • Experience within a financial services environment is an advantage

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills

  • Good attention to detail and confidence working with numbers

  • Ability to manage your time effectively and balance priorities

  • Comfortable working towards goals in a supportive team environment

  • Commitment to working within regulatory and compliance frameworks

  • Presentation experience desirable
