Junior Software Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated .NET Software Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications using .NET technologies.
The role holder will be required to learn, develop and support our existing solution across Salesforce, Azure, .Net and the IBM ISeries Platforms.

Accountabilities of the Role
Maintain existing software systems by identifying and correcting software defects
Test and debug software applications to ensure they meet functional requirements
Support the development teams in maintaining existing applications
Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the Cornmarket ecosystem and continuously improve the development process
Liaise with the Team Lead to ensure all developed solutions are delivered effectively
Work with the team to develop new applications and projects
Display excellent problem solving and strong communication skills
Follow the agile methodology and understand the principles of Scrum
Comply with risk control and regulatory requirements that are relevant to this role
Maintain commercial awareness relevant to this role
Skills & Knowledge Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field required
A minimum of 1 years experience in .NET software development desired
Strong problem-solving, analyitical and communication skills
A willingness to learn new technologies and a passion for software development
Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles
Understanding of modern software development tools and Software Configuration Management (SCM).
Awareness of Software Test methodologies and testing tools.
Experience with C#, ASP.NET, and SQL Server
General Project Management ability desired
Good knowledge of SQL
Exposure to Soap/Rest Services desired
