Role Purpose
The Personal Insurance (PI) Processing Administrator will be primarily responsible for the completion of general insurance administration and processing tasks. This is an entry level position within the Personal Insurance department, one which provides an ideal opportunity to individuals looking to carve out a future in financial services. The role holder will be supported and coached to enable them to excel in terms of their own contribution and encouraged to take on more complex processing tasks as they develop within the team.
This is a 12-month fixed term contract.
Accountabilities of the Role
Processing information on systems to generate client renewal documents.
Complying with risk control and regulatory requirements that is relevant to this role and the Personal Insurance department as a whole
Completion of new business set ups, maintaining new business logs and reports and following up on cases where required
Monitoring all policies where documentation is outstanding, issuing reminder letters and sending for cancellation, if required documentation is not received within agreed timelines
Calling customers following up on documentation queries, new business set up queries, app queries and for ad hoc queries as required.
Maintaining the printing log
Issuing supporting documents for new business, renewals and existing business.
Completion of ad-hoc tasks within the PI Admin department where required
Maintaining commercial awareness of administration processes relevant to this role
Skills & Knowledge Required
Previous administration or customer service experience
Proven track record meeting deadlines or targets
Excellent PC skills - working knowledge of Microsoft excel and Microsoft word essential
The ability to present written / verbal information in a professional, clear & concise manner
APA Qualification desirable however assistance will be given for this qualification
