The Product Governance Scheme Review Analyst will be responsible for assisting in the delivery of group protection scheme reviews, renewals, and acquisitions. The role holder will be expected to provide support to the Product Governance and Controls Manager, and work as part of a cross functional team.
Developing tools to support data analysis requirements for scheme reviews, reviewing customer documentation, and ensuring smooth updates of existing group protection schemes are all important aspect of this role.
Accountabilities of the Role
Plan each group protection review, renewal, acquisition and closure, ensuring that the schedule, tracking tools, and task list are continuously maintained and updated.
Generate and maintain accurate and relevant information of scheme review, data, statistics, and mailing lists for both internal and external stakeholders.
Compile and circulate quotation requests for scheme review and proactively follow-up on same and any other outstanding requests.
Compare and consider the quotes received.
Ensure that customer documents are compliant with company policy, insurer standards and regulatory, legal and data protection requirements.
Provide product information and guidance to the Life Department (including Sales Consultants) for group schemes such as salary protection, group life and specified illness.
Communicate regularly with stakeholders providing them with clear, accurate and concise information and reporting regarding the status of: reviews, renewals, and acquisitions, customer documentation updates and other quality checking activities.
Manage mailboxes and respond to queries within service level agreements and to provide other ad-hoc administrative support to Life Services and Claims teams as necessary.
Engage within the team to ensure smooth updates of existing group protection schemes.
Engage with operational change, training, and marketing to ensure that consultant drive, website, and DocuSign are updated where required.
Help identify and implement efficiencies and a continuous improvement methodology across the product, sales, operational change, systems (including DocuSign), claims, service, and administration processes.
Work closely with the Head of Training and Product Governance and the Product Governance and Controls Manager to carry out any other tasks or projects as required.
Comply with risk control and regulatory requirements relevant to this role and to maintain commercial awareness relevant to this role.

Strong Mathematical competencies
