Role Purpose

We are looking for a Customer Service Agent to join our Tax Return Team. The successful candidate will offer administrative support to a busy tax team. Our Tax Customer Service Advisors are responsible for day to day phone cover, answering general client queries and directing calls to Tax Advisors as well as handling client policy administration.


This is a fixed-term contract.

 

Accountabilities of the Role

  • Process incoming tax return forms and supporting documentation effectively and efficiently within agreed timelines. Administer day to day requirements of our policy holders

  • Administer day to day requirements of our policy holders

  • Answer client queries and allocate client correspondence

  • Advise customers regarding their membership, benefits, process & progress over the phone

  • Have a professional and empathetic approach to customer queries

  • Build familiarity with client base

  • Handle complaints and communicate decisions by presenting available solutions and options, ensuring clients are treated professionally at all times

  • Ensure that information provided is correct, complete and up to date by consulting the relevant data source

  • Comply with risk control and regulatory requirements that are relevant to this role

  • Maintain commercial awareness relevant to this role

Skills & Knowledge Required

  • Previous customer service experience essential

  • Excellent time management skills

  • Strong administration skills

  • Attention to detail

  • Highly Organised

  • Prioritisation and organisation skills

  • Some tax knowledge desired but not essential
